Mental Health Support for Adults, Children & Families

Building bridges between families, donors, and clinical providers.

Bridging the Gap

Life can throw any of us a curveball and in an instant everything can change. Therapeutic services can be costly and hard to access, especially when faced with insurance gaps and limits. Families are often overwhelmed, unsure of what to prioritize regarding treatment. The Powerful Project is here to help.

Families navigating mental health challenges, developmental delays, trauma, and/or genetic disorders can find support through The Powerful Project.

We work with applicants to understand their situation and match them with the appropriate clinical services. Services are then funded by families to the degree which they are able and our donors help fill in the financial gaps, making a lasting and unprecedented difference in the world.

Our community thrives when families and children receive the resources they need.

Mental Health Counseling & Psychotherapy

Navigating your way through life’s challenges can be confusing. Families don’t have to figure things out alone. We connect families with skilled, caring psychologists, psychotherapists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists and other allied health professionals with a wide range of training, specializations and expertise. Adult, child, couples, and family therapy options are available. With The Powerful Project’s help, children & families across the country have an opportunity to navigate life's challenges with the support of clinicians who have the dedication, experience and training tailored to their specific needs.

Nutrition & Medical Support

Our biochemistry plays a large part in how we feel and behave. Our partners are experts in evaluating the integration between the body, emotions and behavior. These professionals help individuals and families strategize about the best approaches to supporting overall wellbeing.

Speech Language & Occupational Therapy

As children grow, their nervous systems sometimes need additional support. We partner with clinicians who have expertise and experience in evaluating and addressing speech, language, feeding, sensory integration, fine motor and gross motor skills. Individual therapy, groups, camps, home programs, and parent/ teacher training support may be included in each child’s individualized therapy plan.

Pay It Forward

We believe no one should feel less than because they receive support. Our families are all given the opportunity to contribute and give back, paying it forward to other Powerful Project families. Those receiving services are invited to contribute a talent, a skill, or support however they are able, thus becoming part of our donor network for helping future Powerful Project families. This connection allows families to experience the power of giving back.
